Did you dry it out, drain and change oil, and try to start it? You might want to try that before you rip the motor apart. I had the misfortune of pinching an o-ring when replacing injectors and dumped fuel into one cylinder. When I tried to start it it actually bounced the cylinder off the liquid and the motor reversed (!!). Fixed o-ring, drained fuel and oil, started over and that car ran another 70K miles before it was stolen. :( Morale of story: double check that mechanic's math.
